Unreal Authorized Instructor. Ex-Tencent, Gameplay System Engineer/Designer.

Master’s student, MEAE at University of Utah

Bubba Yuga

Bubba Yuga is a 2-player couch co-op puzzle game based on the Slavic folktales of the Baba Yaga.

Playing as a pair of tied together witches, you and a friend must work together with your walking house to capture all the woodland children and break the curse that’s been placed upon your family.

Forgetful Roots is an emotional narrative experience that lets players live through three days in the life of an elderly man struggling with Alzheimer’s disease. As her memory fades, players perform simple daily tasks that become increasingly challenging while uncovering fragments of her past.

Set in a beautifully painted Neo-Impressionist world, the game invites players to reflect on memory, loss, and identity through immersive storytelling and evocative visuals.

Embark on an epic journey as one of a million sperm, transforming into a baby through various stages and challenges. Along the way, you'll meet three quirky characters: Corn, Popcorn, and Horn, who will guide you through this unique adventure. Navigate the intricate platform of Vagi-Way, where you'll go through various platforms & obstacles. Then, utilize the Trojan Transport, Condom Car, and Kayak, riding, driving, and paddling your way to Cervigate.

Face the white cell guards, where you'll need to use your skills to defeat them and move forward. The journey continues as you climb Ute-Rise, scaling the snow-capped mountains and overcoming the challenges. Finally, uncover the secrets hidden within the Fallopian Church, where mysteries await your discovery...

Nanite Foliage Shadow Imposter (Research Paper & Tech Demo)

Accepted by ASCMSE 2023 and published on SPIE in August, I, as the First/Main Author, provided a cheaper approach for the optimization challenge of Nanite in Unreal Engine 5.

To increase performance by replacing dynamic shadow-casting foliage with shadow imposters and non-shadow casting foliage, disabling expensive World Position Offset shadow on selected foliage and replace it with a static shadow imposter of the current mesh along with cached virtual shadow map.
